
SOLVE-Nepal since BS 2058 ( 2001 ) was running Micro Finance programme in the name of SHIP Micro Finance programme having with more than 24000 women beneficiaries in the five different districts of Province No. 1. In the process of conversion it is renamed ‘ Solve Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd.’ and service areas are 10 districts of Province No. 1 as permitted by Central Bank of Nepal under Bank and Financial Institution Act, 2073.
The main objective of this programme is to create an enabling situation of accessing finance to the rural poor to uplift their socio-economic status using micro loans in specific income generating business and initiatives. SOLVE-Nepal will handover all it’s women members of micro finance programme to the newly establish bank after it’s completion of certification process. But, SOLVE will continue it’s innovation and capacity development activities to these women through arranging different capacity building and social mobilization programme.
